Every Rescue Deserves a Happy Ending

Helping abandoned and vulnerable dogs and cats find safety, care, and loving homes

APROP works to protect dogs and cats in and around Pego

APROP is a registered charity protecting, rescuing, and rehoming abandoned cats and dogs in and around Pego. Many arrive sick, starving, injured, or mistreated, and we provide veterinary care, safe shelter, rehabilitation, and the chance of a loving home. Through careful adoption matching, fostering, and our street cats programme, we help animals find lasting families. Working alongside local authorities, police, vets, and community partners, our volunteer-led team is united by one mission: animal welfare. Council funding covers only a small fraction of our costs, so every second chance is made possible by donors and supporters like you.

A Decade of compassion

In 2026, APROP marks 10 wonderful years of bringing people together for animals in need. Join us in celebrating the friendships, milestones, wagging tails, happy purrs, and countless moments that have shaped our first decade — with much more still to come!
