Is Ferran Right for You?

Ferran is a gentle, timid boy who needs a little time and patience to show his true personality. He came to us from a shelter affected by the devastating floods in Valencia in 2024, alongside his fellow resident Raul. Both arrived understandably very frightened, and it has taken time for them to begin coming out of their shells.

Ferran is still rather shy and feels safest when he is with Raul. He is good on the lead and enjoys his walks, but he can become overwhelmed in busy or unfamiliar situations. With the right person, we believe this sweet boy has the potential to grow in confidence and become a wonderful companion.

Are You Right for Ferran?

Ferran is looking for a calm, patient home where he can take things at his own pace. He will need someone who understands that building his confidence won’t happen overnight and is happy to give him the time and reassurance he needs.

We feel Ferran would particularly benefit from living with a confident, friendly female dog, who could help him feel secure and encourage him to come further out of his shell. A peaceful home environment, gentle encouragement and plenty of patience will be key to helping Ferran flourish.

If you’re looking for a quiet, sensitive soul and are willing to let trust grow at his pace, Ferran could be the special boy for you.
